Malaysia Science Endowment X E-Asia Joint Research Programme

Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), through the Malaysia Science Endowment (MSE), proudly serves as one of the funding partners in the e-ASIA Joint Research Program (e-Asia JRP), reinforcing its commitment to advancing strategic scientific research and fostering international collaboration.

MSE invites researchers from Public and Private Institutions of Higher Education, as well as Government Research Institutions (GRIs), to submit proposals and secure funding of up to RM1,000,000 per project for innovative research in:

* Disaster Risk Reduction & Management
* Health Research

This grant offers a platform for researchers to collaborate internationally and drive scientific progress with real-world impact.

Key Requirement

  • Applicants must collaborate with international researchers funded by other Member Organisations of the e-ASIA network.

  • Funding per project: RM 500,000 to RM 1,000,000.

  • Technology Readiness Level (TRL): 3 or above.

  • Project duration: Up to 3 years.

  • Collaboration with Industry, Private Companies, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), or Local Communities is required.

  • Projects must align with the 10-10 Malaysian Science, Technology, Innovation and Economy (MySTIE) Framework.
