Study Programmes at PPS
The centre for Graduates Management was established in 1983 to be the secretariat for the University's graduate programmes. The centre offers couse work or research work programmes either full time or part time. The centre also has collaborative networks with other institutions of higher learning.
The objectives of PPS
» To expand and strengthen graduate academic study programmes.
» To increase skills of the teaching staff to the highest level of academic excellence through
supervision while encouraging contributions to knowledge and culture through independent research,
continuing education and writing.
» To administer the management of graduate programmes, provide guidelines and policies and
evaluate the curriculum for graduate studies and their research requirements for degrees and
» To assist UKM’s faculties, institutes and centres plan the administration of their graduate
programmes while putting in place policies and guidelines as well as evaluating the graduate
studies’ curriculum and their research requirements for degree and diploma.
» Collaborate and coordinate with other relevant institutions to organise graduate study
programmes to ensure their effective implementation.
» Provide and or assist graduate students obtain financial assistance through scholarship programmes,
graduate study assistance and research aid.
