What do you expect from theme of “Secret Garden”? Mysterious people? A mysterious gift? Let us find out what had happened in this event. From our observations, lots of pharmacy students, lecturers and guests gathered at the Dewan Prima LJT, Taman Melawati on that great Saturday for this annual event. It was splendid to see the event being well supported and our Chairman, Lee Meng Soon was pleased to welcome the representative from The National Pharmacy Sports Carnival and Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society for attending the dinner.

The event began with a welcoming speech by Lee. According to Lee, this event offers a tremendous opportunity to enhance our soft skills, which is crucial for a future pharmacist. Apart from that, our beloved Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr Ibrahim Bin Jantan also gave a speech emphasizing on the qualities where excellent students should possess. From what had been mentioned by Prof Ibrahim, it is known that students should develop and possess generic skills, leadership skills as well as the communication skills besides having good academic performance. Dean also encouraged us to participate actively in extra-curricular activities.
The event was then followed by the ever anticipated awards-giving session to dean’s list students who excel in their academics. Congratulations to all our top scorers for such an achievement! With plenty of fun and food, attendees enjoyed the fantastic show: Ballroom Dance and “Dikir Barat” which were presented by first year students. Another applauded band performance was then offered by Pharmamusicians which include our beloved Dr. Hanif and fellow students. Big claps to all our awesome performers! Next, we were brought to a sense of excitement in the Lucky Draw session. Congrats to all the lucky winners!
