– https://admission.itb.ac.id/registration/nonreguler/mata_kuliah_exchange_web (subject to update)

Exchange students may choose courses from different faculties / schools (the faculty / school where students take the most number of credits will become their host).

NUMBER OF CREDITS

Bachelor’s level exchange students can take a maximum of 22 credits per semester, while master’s level exchange students can take a maximum of 12 credits per semester. Typically, 30 ECTS are equivalent to 20 ITB credits at the bachelor’s level and 12 ITB credits at the master’s level. As a general set of guidelines for credit equivalency, the following webpage can be useful.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS

Regardless of the agreement between ITB and our partner institution/university, ITB currently has no restriction in terms of the maximum number of students that can be admitted to the exchange program at ITB. All applications will be reviewed by the Faculty/School that the students choose in their student exchange application.

TUITION FEE

The tuition waived policy of ITB Student-Exchange programs is based on the agreement between ITB and the partner institution or university. If the agreement between your university and ITB is expiring in less than 6 months, please contact us to process the renewal, so that students can have their tuition fee waived while doing the exchange program in ITB. In addition, a valid Memorandum of Understanding (stating the possibility of student exchange) or a Memorandum of Agreement on student exchange is required for us to be able to process the students’ Study Permit.

TRAVELING TO INDONESIA

The Government of Indonesia has opened the borders for international travels and allowed students with Study Permit and Limited Stay Visa (C-316) to enter Indonesia, with regulations updated regularly. Please note that because the visa payment must be done directly by the sponsor (in this case, ITB) to the Directorate General of Immigration, students will be required to make an international money transfer to ITB (in the amount equivalent to IDR 3,000,000). When transferring the money, students must ensure that they have taken into account any required fees. Further, students must ensure that they have been fully vaccinated before entering Indonesia. Detailed information will be provided after students receive their Letter of Acceptance.

CLASS MODES

Starting from the Academic Year of 2022-2023, ITB will fully apply physical, on-site, mode of teaching and learning. This means that students are required to be on campus
