BANGI, 22 March 2017 – To become a leader, you must have good decision-making skills.

Royal Fellow at UKM’s Yunus Centre for Advancement of Social Business, YAM Tunku Besar Seri Menanti Tunku Ali Redhauddin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz said the impact from the first decision is important because it can help decision makers plan for the next decision.

“Before you make any decision, choose the one that can bring a positive impact to the society,” he said when delivering his keynote address at the 3rd Conference titled Managing The Future Leading Society, in UKM recently.

He said it is important for a leader of an organization to have both traits as a leader and a manager.

“It is important for you to become a manager and a leader because a manager ensures that the job is correctly done, while a leader ensures that what was done is good,” he said.

The conference aims to provide economic and business insights into what lies ahead in the future in terms of risks and opportunities, in addition to understanding the challenges of a rapidly changing marketplace and prepare to sustain competitive advantage of one’s business.
