Right Attitude Essential for Success- Dato’ Izaddin

BANGI, 21 March 2017 – If you want to succeed, you need have a good and right attitude, said United Engineers Malaysia Berhad (UEM) Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Izaddin Idris at the CEO Talk For CEO@Faculty Programme, recently.

He said students should avoid ‘the young man in a hurry’ syndrome or feel tired of doing the same work, but take it as an opportunity to move forward.

In the lecture titled Be Brave… Be Very Brave, its a Big World Out There, he also advised UKM students to enjoy every task that they are assigned with.

“If you are happy, the result of the tasks will be better,” he added.

In the programme, four students from the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment who answered the questions he posed to the audience correctly were given the opportunity to ride in a UEM helicopter to view the traffic situation in Kuala Lumpur, while six other students were  presented with the opportunity to meet with Dato ‘ Izaddin, in a special session.

Also present at the programme is UKM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali and UKM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Industry and Community Partnership, Prof. Dato’ Dr Imran Ho Abdullah.

The program was organized by the Office of Industrial Relations (PHI) and aims to clarify the role of UKM students in meeting the challenges and prepare for work in the era of globalization.
