BANGI, 27 January 2017 – Transdisciplinary research will pave the way for scientists to better connect with the community.
UKM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Industry and Partnership, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Imran Ho Abdullah said that integration is the key to a transdisciplinary research process.
“Transdisciplinary and sustainable education gives an opportunity for various clusters to work together to solve problems faced by the community,” he said in his speech at the Opening Ceremony of the Transdisciplinary Seminar 2017 (STEd), recently.
Prof Dato’ Dr Imran Ho said UKM hopes that STEd2017 can help to contribute their expertise to the community by translating their knowledge into an approach which can be used to help solve a community’s daily woes.
