UKM Won Pesta Pantun Integrasi Budaya IPTA 2017

BANGI, 21 February 2017 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) won the first place in the Pesta Pantun Integrasi Budaya  IPTA 2017 beating the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), recently.

UKM won RM1500.00 cash prize, a certificate and a trophy while IIUM brought back RM1000.00, a certificate and other prizes.

Meanwhile, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) received the third place with a prize of RM700.00, a certificate and other prizes.

The best pantun reciter for the final competition goes to Anis Amizah from IIUM while Azahari Johari was selected as the best overall pantun reciter.

The prizes were presented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Industry and Community Partnerships Prof. Dato’ Dr. Imran Ho Abdullah.

Pesta Pantun Integrasi Budaya IPTA 2017 was organized by Kolej Ibu Zain UKM in cooperation with UKM Cultural Center.
