UKM received 1376 New Postgraduate Students.

BANGI, 11 September 2017 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) received 1,376 new postgraduate students for the 2017/2018 academic session, recently.

The Faculty of Medicine recorded the highest number of registered Masters students with 301, followed by the Faculty of Education with 184 students.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Education recorded the highest number of doctoral students registered, with 73 people.

Institute of Islam Hadhari (HADHARI), Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI), and Institute of Malay World and Civilization (ATMA), were among institutions that receive the highest new postgraduate students (Master and PhD) for this registration session.

Faculty of Science and Technology, meanwhile, received eight international doctoral students, which is the highest amount recorded at UKM.
