  12. Medical Cover Services for sports and other official university programs
  13. Prophylactic measures (prevention) and medical advice
  14. Visiting Specialists Clinic (Nutritionist and Psychiatrist

Issued by Medical Officer at Health Centre or Assistant Registrar for Kuala Lumpur campus

Dental Unit

Services Provided

  1. Oral and teeth examination
  2. Dental health education
  3. Teeth Scaling and polishing
  4. Teeth patching
  5. Front teeth Root planing treatment
  6. Teeth extraction
  7. Dentures manufacturing
  8. Minor oral surgery

Hospital Bill Repayment Claims

  1. Submit the original hospital bill/receipt (government) to the Health Centre.
  2. Private clinic or hospital visitation are not claimable under the University Health Scheme.
  3. The repayment is based on the Student Health Scheme.
  4. Diagnosis and treatment received at the public hospital are noted down.

Health Examination Report

Report of students’ health examination report

  1. Health examination report is compulsory to be completed and send to Health Centre/Academic Department as part of the university student registration process
  2. Cost of health check-up in the Centre are as follow:

Domestic students: RM 60.00 & International students: RM 250.00

Regulation

Regulation and Suggestion

  1. It is advisable to use health facilities during office hours.
  2. ‘Cold case’ after office hours can go to Bandar Baru Bangi UKM Polyclinic .
  3. Emergency department handles emergency cases only especially after office hours and public holidays.
  4. For life threatening cases, please proceed to nearest hospital (Kajang Hospital or Serdang Hospital) and contact Health Officer for advice.
  5. Students are encouraged to get assistance from Hostels Resident Fellows/Red Crescent Society for first aid treatment.
  6. Ambulance service is only for emergency or to hospital after getting referral from Health Centre.
