The Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) initiative aims to identify and recognize active Malaysian research scientists, highlighting their contributions to R&D and showcasing them as experts in their fields. These distinguished research scientists serve as mentors for the next generation and play a pivotal role in advancing the nation’s STI agenda, fostering a culture of excellence in Science, Technology, Innovation, and Economy (STIE).

ASM encourages research scientists to contribute to the TRSM database by applying for the award.
