Independent and certified radiologist of at least 2 years' general experience

1. To obtain clinical knowledge relevant to medical and surgical management of otorhinolaryngology diseases such that the trainee can confidently discuss the appropriate imaging strategy for the clinical problem with the referring clinician.
2. In-depth understanding of indications, contraindications and complications of imaging and radiological procedures as well as their relative efficacy compared with other imaging or treatment options.
3. To understand broad principles and techniques associated with Head & Neck Radiology.
4. Extensive direct practical exposure with appropriate graded supervision in all forms of appropriate imaging in Head & Neck Radiology.
5. Allow Head & Neck Radiology trainees to apply their knowledge and skills in the workplace and demonstrate competence to the level of a consultant.
6. To become familiar with the indications for, performance, risks, and interpretation of a broad range of Head & Neck Radiology cases.
7. To critically evaluate current methods of imaging and critique published research to improve local clinical practice.
8. The fellow will have the opportunity to be exposed to various imaging techniques, including:
HRCT & MR imaging of cochlear implant candidates
• MR perfusion (DCE) for surveillance of head & neck tumours
• Multiparametric parotid MRI (with DCE)
• Inner ear MRI for endolymphatic hydrops
• 4D parathyroid CT
• Laryngeal MRI

1. Candidate must attend all Head & Neck Radiology CME meetings, multi-disciplinary and clinical-radiological
2. Candidate is expected to report a variety of cross sectional Head & Neck Radiology cases within the fellowship duration, under supervision.
3. Candidate is required to communicate effectively with mentors, other radiologists and clinical colleagues from other disciplines and demonstrate appropriate level of professionalism in communication, encompassing both oral and written form.
