Academic Qualifications

The main requirement for citizen is to pass Bahasa Melayu and English in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent; AND

Basic qualification must have a Bachelor’s Degree in sciencebased field like Reproduction, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioscience of Physiology; AND

Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified nursing staff with at least 6 months in specialty (for candidate applying Masters in Nursing only); AND

International Applicants

English Proficiency

Must have proficiency in spoken and written English. IELTS Band ≥ 6.5 OR equivalent qualifications, taken within the last two years prior to application; AND

Financial Requirements

Self-Financed & International Students

A letter / proof of financial support must be attached. All International and self-financed applicants must produce an accepted written proof of financial status either in a form of an active bank / financial Institution statement or accepted letter of guarantee.

General Requirements
  1. The main requirement for citizen is to pass Bahasa Melayu and English in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent; AND
  2. Basic qualification must have a Bachelor’s Degree in sciencebased field like Reproduction, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioscience of Physiology; AND
  3. For international candidates must also submit proof of proficiency in spoken and written english. An eligible candidate must have IELTS ≥ Band 6.0 or MUET ≥ Band 4.5 or TOEFL iBT ≥ 60 or Pearson Test of English ≥ 59 or Cambridge English Qualifications and Test ≥ 169 (with proof) taken within the last two years prior to application.

DEFINITION

Credentialing: a process to set the standards and to do an evaluation for a person’s qualification in a field or procedure. It is recognition for the professional training done by a medical practitioner.

Privileges: the rights given by the hospital for a medical practitioner to give treatments or to do procedures on hospital patients based on the qualifications of the training, and the medical practitioner’s experience and expertise.
