Overview
Chemical Technology is a discipline of knowledge focusing on processing of materials, polymers and products that involves chemical sciences, techniques and instrumentations. The Chemical Technology Programme is offered by the UKM to meet the increasing demand for competent employees from public as well as private sectors. The programme combines Chemical Sciences, Chemical Engineering as well as other related fields, particularly Information Technology and Business Management. This enables the students to have a complete understanding of the knowledge, with high appreciation towards the technology and its applications that will contribute to the advance in the industry sector of the country without neglecting the sustainable environmental management. 

Duration of Study : 4 years
    • To produce graduates with mastery in chemistry and polymer technology and able to translate technology and problem solving according to chemistry understanding. 

    • To produce graduates with entrepreneurship culture and competent in technology management as well as understanding the need for lifelong learning. 

    • To produce graduates who are creative and innovative, possess values and professional ethics in performing responsibility to The Almighty, customer and society. 

    • To produce graduates with national aspiration, competency and competitive in order to give impetus to the national and global development.
