Bachelor of Science with Honours (Statistics)
Overview
Students enrolled in the Statistics programme, are exposed to thorough knowledge on theoretical as well as the applications. The students learn a variety of problem solving techniques and data analysis. Students are also provided with the knowledge in defining problems, understanding stated problems, identifying the methods of data collection and interpreting results of data analysis. This would shape the student creativity in handling the techniques of problem solving, data collection and interpretation of the results obtained.
Duration of Study : 4 Years
Producing graduates with national aspirations who are able to dominate and employ statistical knowledge to satisfy the needs of the stakeholders and society
Producing graduates who are competent to use problems solving knowledge and methods in statistics to solve national and global issues
Producing students who are competitive, innovative, with the awareness towards the environment and able to contribute ideas in the process of policy formulation, decision making, and implementation of sustainable development.
