| Shorten/Cancel Student Pass

Students are required to apply for the Check-out Memo (COM) within 2 weeks from date of completion / deferment approval / release / dismissal letter by submitting their passport, flight ticket and other related documents.

If a student failed to report to UKMShape by end of the second week, UKMShape reserves the right to proceed with a forced cancellation by lodging a police report and submitting the cancellation to EMGS/Immigration.

Please be reminded that it is an immigration offense to leave Malaysia at the end of your studies without properly applying for a Student Pass cancellation/Check-out Memo.

If a forced cancellation is carried out, you may be blacklisted by the Immigration Department of Malaysia, which could prevent you from applying for any Malaysian visa or pass in the future.

Additionally, failure to complete the proper cancellation process will result in the forfeiture of your personal bond.
