Her presentation, titled โ๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฑ๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ค๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฌ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ซ-๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌโ, highlighted malondialdehyde (MDA) as a key lipid peroxidation markerโan important ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐๐ฅ that reflects biological changes occurring before overt cardiovascular manifestations in diabetic patients. The study offers valuable insights into early disease pathogenesis and prevention strategies.
The session was further enriched by insightful industry perspectives from Puan Amalina Mohd Zaman (Lab Manager, KPJ Lablink), and Puan Nura Samsuddin (Managing Partner, Prima Nexus Sdn Bhd). The presentation concluded with constructive commentary from her Main Supervisor, Dr. Noraidatulakma Abdullah @ Muda, underscoring the strength and impact of the research.
Ms. Harmizaโs academic journey is further distinguished by her achievements, including being 2nd Place winner of the UKM 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, involvement in patent-related work, and active participation in numerous poster and oral presentations.
