26 June 2026 – ๐”๐Œ๐๐ˆ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐”๐ฉ๐๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐๐จ. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•/๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” featured a research progress presentation by ๐”๐Œ๐๐ˆ ๐๐ก๐ƒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐๐จ๐ซ๐Ÿ๐š๐ซ๐ก๐š๐ง๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ณ๐ฅ๐š๐ง, entitled โ€œCRISPR-mediated Investigation of CDKN2A Hypermethylation in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.โ€

During the session, Ms. Norfarhana shared the latest progress of her PhD research, focusing on Objective 3, which investigates the effects of the global ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ÿ“-๐€๐ณ๐š๐œ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐จ๐ง ๐†๐‹๐ˆ๐๐‘๐Ÿ ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฌ, ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ž ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ข๐ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฎ๐ค๐š๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐š (๐€๐Œ๐‹) ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ก, as well as Objective 4, which aims ๐ญ๐จ ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐š๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ซ๐จ ๐€๐Œ๐‹ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐†๐‹๐ˆ๐๐‘๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐‘๐ˆ๐’๐๐‘/๐๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐Ÿ— ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก.

The session concluded with constructive feedback and commentary by her main supervisor, Ts. Dr. Saiful Effendi Syafruddin who provided valuable insights and recommendations to further strengthen the research.
