At UMBI, our researchers have contributed significantly to understanding dengue in Malaysia. Through nationwide seroprevalence studies, we found that ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐, highlighting the true extent of its burden in our communities.
Our findings also showed that ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ ๐๐ง ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐๐ฌ๐, affecting people across different ages and settings. Ongoing research into the ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐๐๐ง ๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ continues to provide insights into predicting disease outcomes and improving patient management.
