Oxford Nanopore Technologies Delegates Visit UMBI

UMBI had the privilege of welcoming delegates from Oxford Nanopore Technologies for a friendly visit on 24 January 2025. Representing UMBI, Prof. Datuk Dr. A Rahman A Jamal led the delegation on a tour of research facilities, including the The Malaysian Cohort (TMC) Project recruitment centre, the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) laboratory, and the UMBI-HCTM Biobank.

The visit provided an excellent platform to showcase UMBI’s advancements in genomics research and explore potential collaborations in cutting-edge sequencing technologies. We look forward to strengthening partnerships that drive impactful scientific discoveries.
