22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, China – Representing IPI and Malaysia

The Institute of Climate Change (IPI) was invited by Star.Vision to join the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, China (17–18 Sept 2025).

Representing IPI and Malaysia, Prof. Ir. Dr Mardina Abdullah and Ts. Gs. Dr Wan Shafrina Wan Mohd Jaafar took part in the launch of the China-ASEAN AI Satellite Constellation initiative, where they shared insights on IPI’s progress and Malaysia’s challenges in space technology, geospatial research, and satellite applications. This marks a big step toward regional cooperation and innovation in space-based Earth observation across ASEAN.
