IPI UKM with collaboration of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) has successfully decoded the sophisticated camouflage strategies of the white oval squid. Ts. Dr. Wee Hin Boo has contributed by analyzing the underlying mathematical patterns that allow these fascinating creatures to seamlessly vanish into their surroundings. This study highlights the power of interdisciplinary science in quantifying nature’s visual complexities and deepening our understanding of marine adaptation.
