BANGI, 31 January 2017 – Students should know the careers related to their field of studies, since their first year in university, said UKM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali.

He said they should not wait until the final semester to get information about the career.

“Students are encouraged to be aware of the requirements posed by the career they plan to embark in, to plan the courses they should be taking,” he said during a speech at the launching ceremony of the Career Development Centre’s (UKM-Career) new office, recently.

He said, UKM has designed a lot of programmes to ensure that students are able to get the information they need.

Prof Noor Azlan added that the faculty and academicians need to ensure that the information are delivered to students because the preparation for one’s future career is very important.

The new UKM-Career Office was launched by UKM Board Director Chairman, Tan Sri Ibrahim Saad.
