Overview

The Global Leadership Program (U-LEAD) focuses on developing the youth of today through a series of modules focusing on the concept of global leadership, important issues of leadership and multiculturalism in the era of globalization.

There will also be an emphasis on personal growth and development where participants will be exposed to the strategies and branding of their personalities and leadership qualities. Additionally, participants will have the opportunities to learn about the success stories of icons and great leaders of the past as several iconic and successful leaders in their respective fields will be highlighted in this program through sharing sessions. This program will prepare the new leaders to undertake the new challenges in this era of globalization.

Overall, participants will engage in a comprehensive program comprising lectures, interactive workshops, enriching field trips, and cross-cultural collaborative learning experiences.

Program fee covers the following:

  • Accommodation
  • Land arrangements
  • Selected meals are provided
  • Local transportation
  • Entrance fees to cultural sites
  • Program kits and courses materials

Requirements and Eligibility

  • Registered as a full-time student at home university.
  • Have completed at least two academic semesters at home university.
  • Have good English proficiency in both speaking and writing.
  • Must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of UKM or placement provider.
  • Agrees to be responsible for the costs incurred.

Application Procedures

  1. Contact your home International Office for internal selection.
  2. Nomination Form must be submitted by your respective home university.
  3. UKM will send application instructions to the nominated students.
  4. Final results will be notified to home university and selected students.
