Introduction

In a world increasingly reliant on technological innovation, the significance of mathematics in engineering cannot be overstated. From the structural integrity of bridges to the precision of medical devices, from the efficiency of algorithms to the optimization of industrial processes, mathematics serves as the bedrock upon which modern engineering stands.

The Regional Conference on Engineering Mathematics 2024 is the first international conference organized by the Engineering Mathematics Research Group, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This conference aims to share knowledge related to research in the field of engineering mathematics, especially with the public and private institutes of higher education and industry in Malaysia and internationally. 

This conference serves as a beacon, illuminating the intricate interplay between mathematical principles and engineering applications. In this conference, we will embark on a journey of exploration, delving into the fundamental concepts, emerging trends, and innovative solutions that define the landscape of Engineering Mathematics today.

This year, EMaRC2024 is scheduled to take place on November 27th, 2024 with the theme:

"Bridging Theory and Practice: Engineering Mathematics in the Real World"

This conference will be conducted in a hybrid manner (physical and online) to ensure that distant participants can also be present online and share knowledge and findings.

EMaRC2024 is organized by Engineering Mathematics Research Group and the Department of Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, UKM.
