Students enrolling in the Actuarial Science Programme will receive a solid background in actuarial science knowledge. The programme offers a variety of courses in mathematics, statistics, computing, insurance, finance and others. The Actuarial Science Programme also offers fundamental syllabus for students to sit for professional exams acknowledged by the professional bodies from overseas such as the Society of Actuaries (USA), the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and the Institute of Actuaries (UK). The programme prepares graduates careers in the areas of actuarial, insurance, finance, risk management, banking and other quantitative areas.

To produce graduates with national aspirations who are able to dominate and apply actuarial science knowledge to satisfy the needs of the stakeholders and society.
To produce graduates who are competent to use knowledge and methods of problems solving in actuarial science to solve national and global issues.
To produce students who are competitive, innovative, with the awareness towards the environment and able to contribute ideas in the process of policy formulation, decision making, and implementation of sustainable development.

Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) aims to provide full-time undergraduate professional training for future pharmacists.

Pharmacy is an interdisciplinary field that integrates knowledge of medical and health sciences, chemistry of drugs, formulation of drugs, and disease prevention and management leading towards patient care. As you build your foundation on these basic knowledge, in the later years you will also learn the processes of drug manufacturing, methods to analyse the quality of drug products, approaches to manage patient’s drug therapy, and conducting research.

In the immersive final year training, you will experience real-life training on pharmaceutical manufacturing, management of pharmacy business, delivery of pharmacy related services in hospital and community settings, therapeutic management of real patients and the application of pharmacy-related policies, in which all of these will equip you with the skills of quality management of medication focusing on quality patient care.

Graduates who have sufficient basic knowledge to act as competent educators in the field of TESL education.
Graduates who understand, are professional and ethical in their duties as educators.
Graduates who are able to adapt to the international and local work environment.
Graduates who are able to lead educational organizations based on knowledge and knowledge in the field of TESL education.
Graduates who are able to conduct research in the field of TESL education in their respective organizations.

General Requirement

1. Complete 12 years of Primary and High School education; and
2. Obtain High School (e.g. Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate, Tawjihiyah, Ijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas, High School Diploma); and
3. Meet minimum English requirement set by faculty; and
4. Pass UKM interview (if required) ; and
5. Meet faculty specific requirement;

UKM’s DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) program is a five-year program divided into two phases where students will learn theoretical, practical and clinical elements.

The DDS curriculum is designed according to the principles of learning as a result and the principles of learning based on competencies as set by the Malaysian Dental Council in the document “Competencies of New Dental Graduates Malaysia”.

This curriculum provides an opportunity for students to strengthen the clinical knowledge, skills and behaviours developed throughout this phase at the Comprehensive Dental Treatment clinic.

UKM Dental Faculty is an established institution with over 20 years of dedicated focus in dental education.
The DDS programme is registered in Malaysian Qualification Register and is recognised by the Malaysian Dental Council for full registration.
You will be taught by qualified and competent specialists with over 10 years of academic experience.
UKM Dental Faculty thoroughly prepares you for your career and prides itself in producing some of the country’s best clinicians, researchers, and academicians.
The DDS programme is fully taught in English.
