Introduction

The Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization program focuses on mastering the fundamental knowledge in Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization. This program trains students to understand the texts and culture of the Islamic world in terms of Arabic studies and universal Islamic civilization, encompassing various cultures and religions. The program emphasizes the study of religion, literature, linguistics, history, and Islamic civilization through reading texts in their original language. It focuses on issues in the field of Arab and Islamic Civilization and proposes solutions to these problems, as well as the application of knowledge and effective communication in Arabic. The courses in the Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization program also serve as a method to help students conduct research in the original language and texts of major cultures and religions, which also contributes to enhancing their competencies that will serve as a foundation for research and teaching in advanced studies.

Introduction

The Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Al-Quran and Sunnah) program is offered to encourage scholarly studies in the fields of the Quran, tafsir (exegesis), and hadith. This program provides opportunities for full-time and part-time students worldwide to explore meaningful learning experiences and begin research that contributes to the development of knowledge and understanding. The four-year undergraduate program offers two main modules: Tafsir (Exegesis) and Hadith (Tradition). You will gain transferable knowledge, experience, and skills that open up a variety of career options and pathways.

Introduction

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program offered at FEP, UKM, is one of the earliest business administration programs in Malaysia, producing numerous professionals and industry leaders in the business world. This program is designed to equip students with the latest knowledge and skills in business management, enabling them to take on management responsibilities in both business organizations and government agencies. Areas of focus include human resource management, marketing, international business, finance, and risk management. Pass with at least Jayyid Rank in the Higher Certificate of Religious Studies of Malaysia (STAM);

Obtain at least Grade C at SPM level in the following subjects;

Obtain at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations commencing session 1 of 2021

Introduction

The Master of Engineering (Chemical) programme is offered by Department of Chemical and Process Engineering as a coursework programme. The programme covers core courses of the chemical engineering programme such as process design and optimization, process design using latest computational techniques, risk analysis & safety and project management. Advances in emerging technologies are offered through three choices of module; Biochemical Engineering, Process Sustainability Technology and Energy Engineering. Each module offered in the specific area and focusing in the advance chemical engineering course such as bioprocess engineering, biopharmaceutical technology and Advanced Biomaterial Engineering in the Biochemical Engineering module, green separation technology, industrial wastewater management and symbiotic eco- community in Process Sustainability Technology module and renewable energy, solar energy and fuel cell technology in Energy Engineering module. Besides, research skills are offered in two project courses. At the end of the program, the students should not only understand, but can apply and develop their own advanced technologies in chemical and biochemical industries as listed above.

The Master of Mechanical Engineering programme is offered by the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering as a coursework programme. The programme covers core courses of the mechanical engineering discipline namely thermofluids, applied mechanics, advanced materials and processes. In these courses, students are exposed to current trends and issues in the field of study. Students are also exposed to research management and aspects of entrepreneurship.

Introduction

Master of Engineering Microelectronic is a specialised program in the field of microelectronics for postgraduate studies. The program includes a variety of advanced courses related to the field of microelectronics and nanoelectronics. The courses offered are in line with latest development in the knowledge domain that meet the needs of the microelectronic industry. These courses are constantly improved so that it remains relevant to the latest development in science and technology. Syllabus has been developed taking into account the views and suggestions from various stakeholders including relevant industry. At the end of this program, graduates will be able to meet its obligations as trained engineers who have in-depth knowledge in the field of microelectronics.
