Semiconductor, MEMS,NEMS, Nanoelectronic Devices, CNT & Graphene Based Devices, Nanomaterials For Energy & Sensor Application

The Semiconductor Devices group was founded within the Department of Electrical, Electronic and System Engineering in 2020. Research takes place in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment, covering a wide range of applications. Much of our works are concerned with the development of nano and micro-electro-mechanical systems (NEMS and MEMS), synthesis of Nano Functional materials, Biosensor and energy harvesting systems. We also have conducted research in materials technology and device physics. A number of our projects involve collaborations with international academic and industrial partners, particularly good links with renown American, European, India and Asian collaborators. The aim of the group research is to develop new technologies that enable advances in materials, processes and applications of advanced electronic devices and systems. The Group is well equipped with facilities for material synthesis and micro-fabrication. Our labs are also equipped with all the necessary state of the art materials and device characterization tools.
