UMBI CEO TALK

On 30th October 2020 (Friday, 8:30 a.m.), UMBI organized a CEO Talk session with Ybhg. Professor Dr. Zunita Zakaria, the Director of the Institute of Bioscience, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The session was held online via  ZOOM platform and attended by more than 50 participants.

During her talk, Prof Dr Zunita shared the 5 vital keys to becoming a successful leader:
1) good teamwork
2) effective communication
3) consistency
4) giving the very best in every task
5) ihsan.
She also shared her experiences in overcoming challenges in years of her academic life. Prof Dr Zunita emphasized on the importance of having good discipline, prioritization and good life balance. UMBIans are very blessed and benefitted a lot from her sharing and experiences.  Hopefully, this will help UMBIans to improve ourselves to a higher level.

The session was moderated by Dr. Nor Adzimah Johdi and the closing speech was given by Dr. Chin Siok Fong, UMBI’s Deputy Director.
