Cadaver Storage Facility
The department has the best cadaver storage facility in the region. Using the latest technology, these cadavers are stored in formalin solution in a leak proof underground tanks. There are 6 tanks each capable of holding up to 6 cadavers at a time. The room is also equipped with high-tech air filtering system that can filter out any toxic chemicals from being released into the environment. There is also a cold room which is used to place the cadaver to reduce the formalin solution and its odour before use for teaching purposes.
We also offer temporary storage services for all medical-related learning institutions and other related bodies for temporary transit before they are used/sent at their respective locations. Please refer to the Embalming and Dissecting Services section under the Services menu for more information.
