Embalming Room
The department has a complete facility for the purpose of embalming a body. Embalming is a process where the cadaver will be preserved using chemicals to maintain their authenticity and durability and later be used for teaching and learning purposes. The unit is equipped with an embalming desk, a refrigerator and embalming machines.
In addition, we also provide this embalming services for local tertiary learning institutions that have no such facility or for long distance transfer purposes. Please refer to the Embalming Service section under the Services menu.
