ISLAMIYYAT: The International Journal of Islamic Studies (ISSN 0126-5636 / e-ISSN 2600-8556) was established in 1977 and is published biannually (June and December) by UKM Press, Malaysia. The journal is a peer-reviewed academic platform dedicated to the scholarly exploration of Islamic thought, texts, traditions, and contemporary issues impacting Muslim societies globally. Islamiyyat is indexed in the SCOPUS, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) of Web of Science, with a Journal Citation Reports (JCR) 2024 Impact Factor of 0.9. It is also indexed in Index Islamicus, ProQuest, UDLedge, MyCite, MyJurnal, and the UKM Journal Article Repository (UJAR).

Islamiyyat welcomes interdisciplinary research contributions in Islamic studies and aims to foster intellectual dialogue among international scholars. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, commentaries, research notes, and book reviews written in Malay, English or Arabic. All submitted manuscripts must present original, unpublished work and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions must demonstrate rigorous methodology, contribute to the existing body of knowledge, and comply with the journal’s ethical and academic standards.

IJIT: The INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ISLAMIC THOUGHT is an internationally refereed online journal (e-ISSN 2289-6023) and printed journal (ISSN 2232-1314). IJIT is jointly published by the Department of Theology and Philosophy; the Faculty of Islamic Studies, National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia), and; Wisdom Academia Venture. The credibility and achievements of IJIT have qualified it to be indexed by Scopus and the Web of Science (ESCI). The international perspective of IJIT reflected by its international authors, international editors, international reviewers, international member of advisory board, and international access. IJIT is an Open Access Journal that users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles. IJIT supports Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing. Founded in 2012, IJIT published in June and December annually. It is open to authors around the world regardless of the nationality. All published articles are assigned DOI (https://doi.org/10.24035) provided by Crossref. IJIT is a member of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), a leading organization that provides guidelines, resources and support for editors, publishers and researchers to ensure integrity in academic writing and publishing. The International Journal of Islamic Thought (IJIT) has been honoured with the Malaysia Scopus Research Star Award 2024 by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia, in recognition of its outstanding global reputation, scholarly excellence, and impactful research achievements.

JCIL: The Journal of Contemporary Islamic Law was established in 2016 with the aim of promoting the study and research of Islamic law and its contemporary applications. With a double-blind peer review policy in place, the journal provides a platform for academics, scholars, and researchers to share their insights, research findings, and opinions on various aspects of Islamic law and its impact on modern societies. IJWAS: The International Journal of West Asian Studies is published as an online journal (e-journal). It publishes original research on subject relevance to the original regions. IJWAS covers the Middle East, South Asia,South East Asia, parts of Africa (Egypt, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Mauritania, North African countries), parts of Europe (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cyprus, Georgia), the former Soviet Union as well as other regions. Being a multidisciplinary journal, the scopes of IJWAS include:  politics, history, civilization, law, economics, cultural studies, language studies, education, philosophy, communications, sociology, anthropology, religious studies, psychology, science and technology, etc.

Al-Hikmah is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (in June and December) by the Research Centre for Da’wah and Leadership, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The journal invites scholarly submissions in the form of original research articles, literature reviews, preliminary research findings, and book reviews. Manuscripts are accepted in Malay, English, or Arabic, covering a broad range of topics related to or intersecting with Islamic da’wah. This includes, but is not limited to, areas such as sociocultural issues, women and family studies, the arts, muallaf (converts), leadership, management, psychology, media, communication, technology, and Islamic counselling. Al-Hikmah aims to promote critical and interdisciplinary engagement with contemporary and classical issues within the field of Islamic da’wah and leadership.

AL-TURATH: The Journal of Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah is a peer reviewed journal published twice a year (June and December) by the Research Centre for al-Quran and al-Sunnah, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. It publishes articles and research papers in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Arabic, concerning al-Quran and al-Sunnah, particularly Quranic exegesis, Qiraat, Hadith, Islamic education, contemporary issues from a wide range of scholarly perspectives of Islamic revealed knowledge.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, comments, research notes and book reviews in Islamic studies. All submitted original research articles should not have been published elsewhere, report on original work, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the journal should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Respecting diversity, the editors’ welcome contributions from all academic traditions and perspectives, be they Muslim or non-Muslim; from the Islamic world or the West; Classic or contemporary.

IJRAH an Open Access Journal that users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles. The international perspective of the journal reflected by its international authors, international editors, international reviewers, international member of advisory board, international access and its trilingual approach (English, Arabic and Malay). Founded in 2021, IJRAH published in June and December annually. It is open to authors around the world regardless of the nationality. IJRAH supports Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.

AL-QALAM: The International Online Journal of Arabic Language Studies, a research publication subjected to a stringent peer-review process, is issued by the Arabic Language Studies division of the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. AL-QALAM, released once a year, provides a scholarly venue for researchers, academics, professionals, practitioners, and students to disseminate and exchange insights across a range of disciplines related to Arabic Language studies, including education, linguistics, literature, history, civilization, among others. Each issue is published annually in November.
