Entry Requirements

 

Master of Health Science with specialization in  Optometry

  • Bachelor Degree in related field with a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from any Institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or
  • Other qualification; equivalent to a Bachelor Degree and other qualification or experience recognized by the Senate.
  • International applicant should get a minimum score of TOEFL 550 or Band 5.5 for IELTS.

 

Doctor of Philosophy with specialization in Optometry

  • Master Degree in related field from any institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or
  • Other qualification; equivalent to the Master Degree and other qualification or experience recognized by the Senate.
  • International applicant should get a minimum score of TOEFL 550 or Band 5.5 for IELTS.

 

Master of Health Science (Clinical Optometry)

Prospective students can apply to conduct research in areas such as:

  • Orthokeratology
  • Electrophysiology
  • Reading and vision

  • Vision related quality of life
  • Low vision and vision rehabilitation
  • Contact lens (including specialty lenses)
  • Paediatric optometry and special population
