Introduction

Audiology is a branch of Health Sciences that focuses on hearing and balance disorders across all age groups, from infants and children to adults and the elderly. Graduates in the field of Audiology are known as Audiologists; a healthcare professionals who identify, diagnose, and provide rehabilitation for hearing, as well as manage patients with hearing and balance disorders. The Audiology Programme at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) offers courses that encompass theoretical instruction, practical training, and clinical skill development.

Obtained at least a CGPA of 2.67 at the KPM Matriculation / Foundation level;

and

- Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in:
  - Biology
  - Mathematics
and
- Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in Physics Matriculation level
or
- At least Grade B at the SPM level in Physics.

and

Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released

Band 5.5 in IELTS

iBT score of 46 in TOEFL

and

Pass the test and/or interview set by the faculty.

STPM Applicant

Obtained at least a CGPA of 2.67 at the STPM level;

and

Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in:
- Biology
- Mathematics (M) / Mathematics (T)

and

Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in Physics in STPM Level

Obtained At least a Grade B at the SPM level in Physics

and

Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released

Band 5.5 in IELTS

iBT score of 46 in TOEFL
and
Pass the test and/or interview set by the faculty.

Diploma or Equivalent Applicant

Possess a Diploma in Science / Health Sciences / Equivalent recognized by the University and the Malaysian Government or Ministry of Health (MOH)

and

Obtained at least a CGPA of 3.00

and

Candidates must submit academic transcripts from Semester 1 to the final Semester

and

Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released

Band 5.5 in IELTS

iBT score of 46 in TOEFL

and

Pass the test and/or interview set by the faculty.

A-Level Applicant

Obtained at least a CGPA of 2.67 at the A-Level;

and

Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in:
- Biology
- Mathematics

and

Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in Physics in A-Level

and

At least a Grade B at the SPM level in Physics

and

Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released

International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD) Applicant

Pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum score of 30;

At least a score of 5 at the High Level (HL) for:
- Biology
- Physics
- Mathematics (HL)

and

Pass other subjects at the Standard Level (SL).

and

Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released
