Introduction
Nutrition is a multidisciplinary field that provides an understanding of how food intake can affect health. Nutrition begins with a strong foundation of nutritional science knowledge, encompassing how food is produced and processed, the types of nutrients obtained from food, factors influencing food choices, and the metabolic effects of food intake on health. Qualified Nutritionists are highly needed in promoting nutrition and healthy lifestyles as well as in the prevention of chronic diseases. This program complies with the requirements of the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774).

General Requirements
- Complete 12 years of Primary and High School education; and;
- Obtain High School (e.g. Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate, Tawjihiyah, Ijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas, High School Diploma)
and
• Meet minimum English requirement set by faculty
and
• Pass UKM interview (if required)
and
• Meet faculty specific requirements;

- Required subjects:

a. Biology
b. Chemistry
c. Mathematics
d. Physics - The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level
- International Baccalaureate Diploma with 32 point overall. Score of 3 in two(2) Higher Level.
English Requirements
- HEET 7 (mid)
- IELTS ≥ 5.5
- TOEFL iBT ≥ 46
- Cambridge English Qualification- B2 First 160-179
- Cambridge English QualificationC1 Advanced 180-199
- Cambridge English Qualification- C2 Proficiency 200-300
