Introduction
Nutrition is a multidisciplinary field that provides an understanding of how food intake can affect health. Nutrition begins with a strong foundation of nutritional science knowledge, encompassing how food is produced and processed, the types of nutrients obtained from food, factors influencing food choices, and the metabolic effects of food intake on health. Qualified Nutritionists are highly needed in promoting nutrition and healthy lifestyles as well as in the prevention of chronic diseases. This program complies with the requirements of the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774).

- Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released

iBT score of 46 in TOEFL
and
- Pass the test and/or interview set by the faculty.
STPM Applicant
- Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Mathematics (M) / Mathematics (T)
and
- Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released
or
- Band 5.5 in IELTS
or
- iBT score of 46 in TOEFL
and
- Pass the test and/or interview set by the faculty.
Diploma or Equivalent Applicant
- Possess a Diploma in Science / Health Sciences / Nursing / Medical Science / Equivalent Diploma from an Educational Institution or Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia College recognized by the University and the Malaysian Government
and
- Obtained at least a CGPA of 3.50
and
- Candidates must submit academic transcripts from Semester 1 to the final Semester
and
- Obtained at least Band 3.00 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from session 1 of 2021 according to its validity period of 5 years from the date the test results are released
or
- Band 5.5 in IELTS
or
- iBT score of 46 in TOEFL
and
- Pass the test and/or interview set by the faculty.
A-Level Applicant
- Obtained at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the A-Level;
and
- Obtained at least a Grade B- (GP 2.67) in:

International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD) Applicant
- Pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum score of 30;

- Pass other subjects at the Standard Level (SL).
