Penyelidikan dan Inovasi merupakan elemen utama dan penting dalam memacu Fakulti menerusi era UKM yang diiktiraf sebagai RU atau Universiti Penyelidikan. Ekosistem penyelidikan FKAB berada pada landasan yang sangat baik dan menjadi rujukan daripada pelbagai pihak sama ada dalam UKM, peringkat kebangsaan dan juga antarabangsa. Ini terbukti melalui perolehan dana-dana penyelidikan yang berprestij dan kompeten, kolaborasi penyelidikan berimpak dan relevan yang memacu kepada penyelidikan tersohor dan menerobos kepada hasil penerbitan yang sangat cemerlang.
