Heartiest Congratulations to the research group from Nutritional Sciences Programme, School of Healthcare Sciences, headed by Prof Dr Poh Bee Koon for having successfully won a research grant ‘Newton-Ungku Omar Fund research grant’ together with a group of researchers from the United Kingdom – Roehampton University, Durham University and Malaysia – Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).
The project entitled: Improving healthy energy balance – and obesity-related behaviors among preschoolers in Malaysia: feasibility of adapting the ToyBox-Study, and the funding approved is from January 2017 to December 2018 (2 years), with the funds fully from the Medical Reserach Council (MRC) totaling: £310,553.21.
