About Us

Physiotherapy Clinic (formerly known as Physical Therapy Clinic) was established under the Physiotherapy Program, Faculty of Health Sciences in 2008 to meet the aspirations of UKM to serve the skills and expertise available to the community. The Physiotherapy Clinic offers Physiotherapy learning, teaching and services such as assessment and treatment of the various cases that require short or long term rehabilitation. Physiotherapy clinic also provides screening and health promotion services in the clinic and communities, in addition to being a centre of research excellence in specific fields, especially Physiotherapy. Our clients consist of individuals and specific target groups referred from various disciplines, whether from hospitals, government clinics and the private sector. The clinic is also able to provide training to undergraduates and continuous learning to staff towards increasing the level of professionalism as well as expanding with upgrading clinical skills.

Provide quality, comprehensive and high standard client-focused customer-focused services with an emphasis on the aspects of promotion, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Provide health education to customers as well as the community.
Promote a healthy and active lifestyle to the community.
Collaborate with external agencies in preparing strategic plans according to the needs of stakeholders.
Provide training opportunities for undergraduates and continuous learning to staff towards increasing the level of professionalism.
Help strengthen the Faculty of Health Sciences in particular and UKM in general as a clinical research center.

Customer referral to Physical Therapy Clinic

We accept customers with referrals from hospitals and clinics / government and private institutions. We also consider referral cases on our own or without an appointment.

Our Services

FSK Physical Therapy Clinic offers professional services offered to the general public. The services offered are as follows:

Treatment Acceptance Procedures at Physical Therapy Clinics

1. The treatment sessions given are according to the appointment. Appointments can be made by phone or at the Physical Therapy Clinic registration counter. Some important documents required during registration, customers are asked to bring the following documents on the first appointment;

Reference letter
Identity card / passport
Letter of guarantee from the employer (Government staff / statutory body)
Pensioner’s card
Letters from schools (primary and secondary school students)
Welfare card (OKU)

2. The first treatment visit includes an initial assessment by physiotherapy taking approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Follow-up treatment takes between 20 minutes to an hour.
