Shade Tree Planting and Specification Coordination Meeting at UKM

The Shade Tree Planting and Specification Project Initiative is currently being actively implemented. A synergistic discussion session was held on 18 May 2026 with our flora expert from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Dr. Shamsul Khamis, together with the Department of Development and Maintenance (JPP).

As a result of the discussion, several strategic locations have been identified, and suitable shade tree species have been selected to replace the old trees that had been cut down.
