UKM Explores Strategic Collaboration Opportunities with Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) welcomed a courtesy visit from a delegation of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), Indonesia, led by the Rector of UMS, Prof. Dr. Harun Joko Prayitno, M.Hum., as part of efforts to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on potential collaboration in the areas of academics, research, student and staff mobility, talent development, and international initiatives that could benefit the university communities in both countries.

The visit reflects UKM’s commitment to continuously expanding its global strategic network through collaboration with leading regional higher education institutions, while further strengthening the university’s academic excellence and international impact.

Also present was UKM Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Strategy and Corporate Affairs, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Roslee Rajikan. The UMS delegation also included its Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Em Sutrisna, M.Kes.
