International Symposium on Synthetic Biology and CRISPR Technology (iSynBioCT)
Translating Research in Innovation Driven Sustainable Bioeconomy
The International Symposium on Synthetic Biology and CRISPR Technology 2024 (iSynBioCT 2024) is the second series of symposium on synthetic biology and CRISPR technology (First held in 2022) organized by INBIOSIS, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This symposium aims to build a stronger INBIOSIS research network with Asia Pacific countries. iSynBioCT 2024 will be jointly organized with the Malaysian Society of Systems Biology and Biosynthetics (MyBIOSS). This international symposium is organized in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), including Goal 2 (Zero hunger), Goal 3 (Good health and well-being for people), Goal 14 (Life below water) and Goal 15 (Life on Land).
The objectives of this symposium are;
-
To provide a networking and discussion platform for the participants who are already involved in CRISPR technology, systems and synthetic biology research or for those who are going to venture/undertake bioengineering approach in their existing research
-
To organize intellectual discussion on the advancement in CRISPR technology, systems and synthetic biology research
-
To provide a research network gateway among young and established researchers in academia, industry and government agency
