Sustainable Campus: Taman Alam Ilmu Canselori UKM 2025
A program organized by the UKM Garden Friends Club (Kelab Rakan Taman UKM) in collaboration with the UKM Strategy Centre (STRATEGI UKM) was successfully held at Level 3, Chancellery Building, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
The program aimed to foster civic awareness and a shared sense of responsibility in preserving environmental sustainability among the university community, in line with UKM’s aspiration to be a Sustainable Campus and the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 15: Life on Land).
The opening ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Prof. Sr Ts. Gs. Dr. Khairul Nizam Abdul Maulud, Deputy Executive Director (Sustainability) of the UKM Strategy Centre. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring the campus remains green and conducive as a “Garden of Knowledge and Nature”, supporting the well-being of the UKM community.
With the theme “Our Garden of Knowledge, Let’s Green It Together,” the program hopes to instill a love for the environment and strengthen UKM citizens’ commitment to sustainable development initiatives.
Also present at the event were YBrs. Dr. Nik Norhazrina Nik Mohd Kamil, Advisor of the UKM Garden Friends Club, members of the Strategy Centre, and members of the UKM Garden Friends Club.
