Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Bitara Awards Ceremony
A total of 50 winners across 16 categories, both individual and group, received awards at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Bitara Awards Ceremony held today at Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak (DECTAR). The ceremony was officiated by the Director-General of Public Service, Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Haji Abdul Aziz, who also presented the awards to the winners.
He was welcomed by the Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Abd Razak, and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sufian Jusoh.
The UKM Bitara Awards, introduced in 2016 and held annually, aim to recognize the excellence of staff and departments across various fields, including academics, research, internationalization, income generation, and human capital development. This award represents the university’s highest recognition of individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievements, innovation, and high-impact contributions to the university and society.
The award reflects UKM’s commitment to valuing the efforts, dedication, and expertise of its people who drive excellence in teaching, research, creativity, and community service at both national and international levels.
Among those in attendance were members of the University Board of Directors, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, and UKM’s top management.
