Community Service at Buku Jalanan Chow Kit School, Kuala Lumpur

The Community Service Programme at Buku Jalanan Chow Kit (BJCK), organised by UKM, reflects strong alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It supports SDG 1: No Poverty by providing essential items to children in need and strengthens SDG 4: Quality Education through the organisation of book collections, reading spaces, and school facilities. At the same time, the programme contributes to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by offering learning opportunities and support to underprivileged children. Moreover, it highlights SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through collaborations between UKM, external institutions, and the local community in ensuring programme success.
