KUDAH Programme by UKM Strategy Centre at Bukit Keluang Beach

The Strategy Centre of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) organised the KUDAH Programme (Kutip Sampah Sambil Riadah – Collect Trash While Exercising) at Pantai Bukit Keluang as part of its efforts to cultivate environmental sustainability awareness within the local community.

The programme combined recreational activities with a beach clean-up initiative, bringing together staff from the UKM Strategy Centre to remove solid waste and litter from the shoreline. Beyond enhancing the cleanliness and appearance of the beach, the initiative also promoted a healthy lifestyle and fostered a strong spirit of volunteerism.

The KUDAH Programme reflects UKM’s ongoing commitment to advancing environmental sustainability and upholding the university’s social responsibility to the wider community. Pantai Bukit Keluang was selected as the venue due to its status as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Terengganu, where maintaining cleanliness and preserving its natural beauty are of utmost importance.
